Bhatkal: Responding to the call by Minister for Primary & Secondary Education Suresh Kumar on the need for the schools to take up the initiative of water bell, Vidyabharathi English Medium School of Bhatkal has implemented the water bell concept in a bid to keep the children hydrated and healthy. 

Speaking on the occasion, school headmistress Roopa Kharvi said that water is lifeline of people. Each person must drink sufficient water to keep diseases at bay. Several students do not drink water and as a result, they suffer health issues. To address these issues and to ensure that students drink water compulsorily, the water bell concept has been introduced in the school.
