Sirsi: An unidentified body of a man in a decomposed condition was found at Yana region of Sirsi. It has been suspected that the body was thrown here after murdering at the different place.

It was studied that when a foul odor started spreading in the Devinalli gram region located at Yana-Sirsi highway, the locals started investigating which as a result found man's body into decomposed condition.

Police personnel, after receiving the information​, rushed to the spot and conducted necessary investigations. Observing the body, it is said that the man may have died 15-20 days earlier. Also, it was suspected that the body was burnt.

"Though Yana is a tourist place, it's difficult to declare that the deceased man was a localite or a tourist. It can be found only after conducting the investigation", said DYSP Nagesh Shetty. 

Circle police inspector Krishna Anand Naik too rushed the spot and conducted the necessary investigations.
