Udupi: Permission will be granted to buy essentials between 6 am and 10 am on June 7 and 8 in 40 panchayats currently under lockdown, said DC G Jagadeesha.

Lockdown has been imposed in these panchayats for reporting more than 50 cases.

“Decision to continue total lockdown in these panchayats will be taken on June 8,” the DC said.
