Udupi: Three people met watery grave after they drowned in a rivulet at Pamburu Kabedi in Mudubelle village on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Kelvin Castelino (21), Jabeer (18) and Rizwan (28). All three hail from Subhashnagar in Shankarpura.

The mishap occurred when they were swimming in the water. The bodies were recovered by the swimmers. A case was registered by Shirva police station.
