Bhatkal: One rider was killed on the spot, while another sustained grievous injuries after their bikes collide head-on near RNS hospital on Murdeshwar NH-66 in Bhatkal taluk on Wednesday night, 1st May.

The deceased is identified as Nagappa Naik, a resident of Heradi near Murdeshwar. 

The injured victim's identification was not able to get as he was immediately rushed to Manipal hospital after giving first aid treatment at RNS hospital in Murdeshwar.

A case has been registered in Murdeshwar police station and further investigations are underway.
