Bhatkal: Two police personnel attached to the Bhatkal Town Police Station have been honoured by the Superintendent of Police of Uttara Kannada district for their exemplary performance in executing court-issued warrants and tracing absconding accused.

Civil Head Constables Girish Ankolekar and Uday Naik were presented with commendation certificates at a function held at the office of the Superintendent of Police in Karwar.

According to the police department, the duo achieved a 90 per cent warrant execution rate during the current year. Their sustained efforts in tracing absconding accused and producing them before the courts have helped expedite the trial and disposal of several criminal cases.

The commendation recognises their dedication, professionalism and commitment to duty.

Congratulating the two personnel, the Superintendent of Police Mr. Deepan M. N. urged them to continue serving the public with the same dedication and efficiency.
