Sirsi: In a tragic incident, a truck with Pamail boxes load met with a fire accident near Ragihosalli on Kumta-Sirsi highway on the early hours of Tuesday, 9th June.

It's said that due to the technical problem, the fire broke out in the engine and within no time the flames covered the entire truck. The truck was en route to Haveri from Mangaluru.

The fire brigade team were called to extinguish the fire, but until they reached the spot, the flame had completely turned the truck into ashes.

It is reported that due to the incident, loss of around lakhs of rupees has been estimated. However, no kind of casualties was reported.

As the information was alerted, Sirsi rural police personnel rushed to the spot and conducted the necessary investigation.
