Karwar: A 29-year-old tourist died of a heart attack in Gokarna on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Abhay Fakirappa Doddawad, resident of Bailhongal.

He along with his five friends had come to Gokarna on a tour and had stayed at a resort near Kudle beach here. However, on Monday morning, he suffered heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital, but in vain. 

After completing a medical course in Belagavi, Abhay had written NEET. A case has been registered in Gokarna and investigation is on.
