Karwar: Vice admiral P Ajit Kumar visited the Seabird Naval Base in Karwar on Monday and reviewed its preparedness and ongoing civil works.

Flag Officer Commanding Karnataka Area Rear Admiral Mahesh Singh gave information about the second phase works going on in the naval base. He also told him about the facilities available in the naval base and its needs.

Vice admiral Ajit Kumar then visited the Naval ship repair yard and interacted with the civilian staff there.

He also talked to the officers and other staff enquiring about their well being.
