Three ganja sellers held in Dandeli

Karwar: Dandeli town police arrested three persons selling wet ganja and sent them to judicial custody.

The accused have been identified as Yasin Sheikh of Manakapur in Dharwad district, Tippanna Annigeri, a native of Bailhongal taluk in Belagavi district and resident of Handali in Dandeli and Mohammed Chand of Masjid Galli on Dandeli-Haliyal Road.

Around 750 gram of wet ganja worth Rs 5,800 was seized from them.

The accused were arrested while they were selling ganja near the gate on Haliyal Road.

Look out for main sellers

During the investigation, they revealed that they brought the ganja from one Namdev Patil and his son from Handali village. Hence, case has been registered against them also and a manhunt has been launched to trace them, informed PSI Premangowda Patil.
