Theft reported at house in Kumta; Gold ornaments looted

Kumta: In rising incidents​ of theft these days in the parts of coastal Karnataka day by day, a fresh incident have been taken place in Kumta at a house located in depo colony on 25th May, Thursday.

Sources said that the incident might have took place with severe plannings. As no one was in the home, the thieves looked for a chance and went inside the house after breaking one of the windows. They looted away two gold bangles along with the cash amount of Rs. 12,000.

The house belonged to Balchandra Nayar, who was professionally a postman. 

In this regard, a case has been registered in Kumta police station and further investigations are on.
