Sirsi: A 32-year-old person teacher of a Government Asharama School in Kondli, killed on the spot in an accident between a truck and the bike on which he was riding near Maladamane Cross on Siddapur-Sirsi road in the town in the wee hours of Wednesday. 

The deceased has been identified as Ullas Ganesh Madiwal, a resident of Bailur in Bhatkal taluk.

The incident took place when he was heading towards Siddapur from Sirsi on his bike and a lorry hit his bike from the front. After the incident, the lorry driver is absconding, said sources.
