Bhatkal: A speeding tanker hit a bike at Kasargod NH 66 near Honnavar and as a result the bike rider died on the spot on Sunday, July 23. 

The accident occurred 30 km from here at at early morning

The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Ramchandra Naik (32 yrs), a resident of Hosapatan of Honnavar taluk.

A case was registered at Honnavar police station and investigations are under way.
