Sullia: In a grisly road accident that occurred in between Jeep and KSRTC Bus, one person was reportedly killed on the spot, while two others sustained severe injuries. The incident happened on 15th September, Friday here at Talur Mavinkatte in Sullia.

Reports from Sullia informed that the incident took place on Subramanya state highway. The deceased victim in the incident was identified as Shashidar (35), while the injured were Jeep driver Rohit Ashwa (32) and his relative Nitin (25). Both sustained severe injuries on the body. A 3-year-old kid too was in the car, but luckily he was safe as he was not hurt. 

It was reported that the incident happened when the bus overtaking a vehicle hit the Jeep at a cost of high-speed, which as a result, Shashidar collapsed on the spot after his hand went disengaging from his body. 

Traffic breakdown on the highway was seen for around one hour after the incident. As the information was alerted, Subramanya police station sub-inspector rushed to the spot and conducted necessary investigations and registered the case against KSRTC bus driver.
