Dandeli: A six-year-old boy was bitten by a stray dog at Patel Nagar in Dandeli on Thursday.

The boy received serious injuries on head, hands and eyes and was admitted to the civil hospital in Dharwad for treatment.

The victim was identified as Mohammed Anaq, son of Niyaz Ahmed Khanpuri.

The dog attacked Anaq when he was playing in front of his house.
