Yellapur: A five-year-old girl suffered injuries in an attack by stray dogs at Police Circle in Yellapur town on Saturday. 

The incident took place when the girl was on her way towards anganwadi. Aleen Usman, the victim, was admitted to the Government Hospital for treatment.

Pattan panchayat member Kaisar Sayyed Ali said that they had asked the pattan panchayat officials to take steps to check stray dog menace, several times. But the did nothing putting lives of people at risk.
