Mundgod: Two persons riding on the bike were killed on the spot after their vehicle was rammed over by the speeding car here in Mundgod on Sunday.

The deceased are identified as Hanumavva Karadagi (56), and Adarsh Aalur (18), both residents of Kyasankeri village in Mundgod.

In the incident, the car driver was injured seriously.

Sources informed that the mishap happened when the car was heading towards Chavadalli village from Mundgod, while the bike was in the opposite direction. Both had an head-on collision, causing instant death of two persons on bike, and seriously injuring the car driver.

A case has been registered in Mundgod police station.
