Mangaluru: The Railways has decided to run a holiday train on a special fare between Bandra Terminus and Mangaluru Junction to clear the extra rush of passengers during Holi.
A release from Konkan Railway here stated that Train No. 09009 Bandra (T) – Mangaluru Jn. Weekly Special on Special Fare would leave Bandra (T) at 11.55 p.m. on March 19 to reach Mangaluru Jn. at 7.45 p.m. the next day.
Train No. 09010 Mangaluru Jn. – Bandra (T) Weekly Special on Special Fare would leave Mangaluru Jn. at 11 p.m. on March 20 to reach Bandra (T) at 7.30 p.m. the next day.
The train halts at Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Madgaon Jn., Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki and Surathkal stations. It comprises total 20 LHB Coaches, including one 2-Tier AC coach, three 3-Tier AC coaches, 10 Sleeper coaches, three general coaches, one pantry car and two generator car cum SLR.
