Bhatkal: A woman was killed when a snake bit her while working on her farm land at Bailur Village in Bhatkal taluk on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Janaki Ramesh Naik (37). 

Though she was rushed to the Murdeshwar private hospital, but she breathed her last, en route to the Bhatkal Govt hospital.
