Mangaluru: The custom officials arrested three persons and seized 1.532 kg gold in powder and paste form, concealed in the rectum, at the Mangaluru International Airport on Saturday.

According to officials, the value of the seized gold is Rs 49.18 lakh. The passengers arrived from Dubai in Air India flight to Mangaluru.
