Sirsi: The police have arrested two accused and is interrogating into the matter, who were involved in series of theft incidents that had happened a couple of days back in Sirsi.

The accused here are identified as Mahesh Bhuvi and Asgar Sab. 

It was learned that the accused were arrested when they were trying to flee the scene after looting the houses which belonged to Sitaram Hegde and Subray Bhat, that are located in Hatkar village in the taluk. They were arrested with the help of locals and residents who were present on the spot. 

The police are investigating into the matter.
