Sirsi: A student reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself in the toilet of her college on Thursday.

The student identified as Mobina, a native of Neglur in Haveri district, was studying in JMJ College in Sirsi. She used to stay in a hostel. She had been to her native and had returned on Wednesday. However, she ended her life on Thursday.

Mobina was a bright student and had scored 97% marks in SSLC. She had studied in Navodaya School. In her death note, she has asked not to take her body to her father’s house but to her grandmother’s place. Rural Police have registered a case.
