Mangaluru:  A 45-year-old fisherman who was went missing after the purse-seine boat in which he had ventured out met with a mishap off Ullal coast due to strong winds was traced at Malpe on Tuesday after swimming for nearly 30 hours.

Ullal police said the fisherman was identified as Sunil Coelho and resident of Ullal Hoige.

A total of 29 people from Ullal Uliya ventured out for fishing in a boat on Sunday and had returned on the same day, however, Sunil went missing. Now it is being said that he swam for nearly 30 hours to keep himself alive.
