Dandeli: KAS-grade officer Sayyed Jahedali took charge as the new commissioner of Dandeli City Municipal Council in Dandeli recently.

Sayyed, a 2014 batch officer, basically hails from Kalaburagi and is an MBBS graduate. A Tahsildar-grade officer, Sayyed completed his one-and-half year Tahsildar training period in Haveri and has now been appointed as CMC commissioner.

After completing his medical degree, he served as a doctor for one year. He has also secured 410th rank in UPSC exams in the year 2017.
