Ankola: A Cruser vehicle driver died in a tussle with a tanker driver who had hit his Cruser at Hebbula on the national highway recently.

A tanker from Tamil Nadu driven by Rajani Kutti hit a Cruser vehicle from the rear end while overtaking another vehicle near Mastikatta on NH-63. However, the tanker did not stop after the accident. Irked over this, Cruser driver Juvaon Siddi (45) chased the tanker and managed to get into the tanker. He then engaged in a verbal clash with the tanker driver near the tanker window. 

In the meantime, they began pushing and pulling and in the melee, Juvaon fell off the tanker and died. A case was registered in this connection.

Later, a team of police led by CPI Pramodkumar traced the tanker driver based on information provided by the local people and he was sent to judicial custody.
