Bhatkal: A philanthropist, COVID warrior, and a Vice President of Bhatkal's most influential social organization Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem, Mr Ateequr Rahman Muniri was felicitated by SahilOnline team on Monday, for his wholehearted service and support towards humanity and community in the recent days amidst ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The felicitation was done by Managing Editor of SahilOnline, Mr. Inayatullah Gawai in the presence of other staffs.

It shall be recalled, in the recent days, amidst the ongoing crisis due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Dubai based Bhatkali businessman Mr. Ateequr Rahman Muniri had on June-July chartered two special flights, wherein he brought more than 350 stranded people of Bhatkal and coastal Karnataka from Dubai to Bhatkal. A week ago, Mr. Muniri contributed two ambulances that has ventilator supported. He was also elected as the member of council in Jamia Islamia Bhatkal during the meeting held last week. Mr. Muniri, who is a philanthropist have won the hearts of thousands of needy people in the recent days of COVID crisis. On his service towards humanity, he is being lauded from all corners of the town.
