Bhatkal: Rotary Club of Bhatkal opened Vocational Training Centre as a part of Global Grant Project of the Rotary Foundation at New English School premises, in association with of the Bhatkal education Trust on 29th May, Monday.

The club aims at providing training to help people enhance their computer knowledge, Food processing, in addition to offering tailoring courses for women. The centre will offer training in computer basics and Tally, as well as CAD and Design for students. Women will be taught the basics of stitching and embroidering.

Training course certificates will be given to all the participant after the completion of the courses.

Dr. Vinay Kumar Pai Raikar, District Governor preside over the function.

Prakash Saraswat, Dr. Suresh Nayak President Bhatkal Education Trust, Dr. Mustaque Bhavikatte, President Bhatkal Rotary, Secretary Shakir Hussain, Project Dr. Gaurish Padukone and many others were present.
