Karwar: The total recoveries outnumbered Covid-19 active cases in Uttara Kannada district on Monday.

While 31 new cases were reported on Monday, a total of 64 people walked out of the designated Covid hospital in the City, following their complete recovery from the infection. 

Covid-19 cases continue to surge in Haliyal and Dandeli taluks, with 20 more people testing positive on Monday.

Mundagod taluk reported three cases, two each cases were reported in Ankola, Kumta, and Bhatkal taluks, Honnavar and Sirsi taluks recorded one each new Covid case.
