Karwar: People, who were fearing a second round of flood, heaved a sigh of relief with rain receding in Uttara Kannada district on Monday.

Karwar and a few other coastal taluks saw some sunshine on Monday. Rain also came down in Malnad area with the area witnessing just intermittent showers. Water overflowing on the roads in Kadra area near Karwar also came down on Monday.
