Gokarna: Police conducted raids on two rave parties organised by foreigners and arrested three persons including two foreign nationals on Saturday midnight. 

The police conducted raids on the rave parties going on at Regular Resort on Kudle Beach in Gokarna and amid the forest at Brahmakan and seized a large quantity of liquor, beer and drugs.

During the raid on Regular Resort, the police seized liquor and beer and arrested resort manager Irfan Sheikh (33) of Kasargod. Case has also been registered against hotel owner Imram Shamshuddin Sheikh (33), a resident of Mumbai.

Later, the police raided the party going on in the forest in Brahmakan, eight kilometers from Gokarna. Party organiser Gel Pildman (21) and Gey Pinto Shelom (22) of Isreal were arrested. A case has also been registered against Tapang Raju of Sikkim who allegedly helped in organising the party. He has been reportedly missing.

As much as 16.10 gram of Charas (drug) worth Rs 10,000 and other drugs were seized from the arrested foreigners. This apart, liquor and beer bottles worth Rs 15,000 were seized. Case has been registered under Excise Act.
