Bengaluru: The high court on Friday reserved its verdict on petitions filed by four accused in the PU question paper leak case.
Justice K N Phaneendra reserved his verdict after hearing the petitions filed by Obalaraju, who was the medical education minister's personal assistant, and K S Ranganath, a PWD engineer, and two others.
The government opposed their bail plea, contending that because of the accused, the II PU Chemistry question paper leaked twice, seriously affecting the prospects of lakhs of students and also leading to law and order problem.
The state also claimed granting bail at this stage would hamper probe.
