Honnavar: A 34-Year old press reporter died after being drowning in Kasarkod beach here at Honnavar on 18th September, Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Manjunath, a resident of Honnavar.

It was said that deceased Manjunath was a news reporter earlier in various Kannada news channels including Tv9 and Samaya news. Later he got separated from the reporting profession. It was learned that his death took place when he fell from a fishing boat.

The body was recovered from the sea, and police are investigating the matter.
