Siddapur: Siddapur police have arrested a person in connection with the two-year-old bikes stealing incident and have recovered two Enfield bikes from his possession.

The accused is identified as Muhammad Sajjad Muhammad Younus, a resident of Badriya colony in Bhatkal.

On 20th February 2017, a case was filed at Siddapur police station regarding theft of a bike bearing registration number 'KA 05 H 4895' parked near Vijaya bank in the town.

The accused had remained untraceable after the incident.

However, DySP GT Nayak along with Sirsi CPI B Girish and Siddapur PSI Manjunath Barki were successful in nabbing the accused.

A team of police personnel Ramesh Kudal, Gangadar Hungal, Prakash Talwar, and Ravi G Naik had participated in this operation.
