Karwar: A 35-year-old person committed suicide by consuming poison on Friday. Police found his body near Maruti Temple in Kadwad in Karwar taluk. The deceased has been identified as Nagendra Kolvekar, a resident of Kathinakona in Sunkeri in the taluk. The reason for suicide is yet to be known, said police. Rural police have registered a case.
