Karwar: Around seven bikes and three bicycles, which were parked near electric pole were gutted to fire in the late night of Tuesday here at Haridevi region in the taluk.

It is suspected that the fire broke out due to short circuit from the nearby electric pole, which caused to spread over the vehicles parked.

A case has been registered in Karwar rural police station.
