Bhatkal: Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem of Bhatkal organised a felicitation and interactive session with newly elected Town Municipality councillors on Sunday, 30th June, here at Tanzeem building.  

The members were initially felicitated for being elected as councillors for respective wards. Following an interactive session was chaired, in which the dignitaries and members of Tanzeem addressed few key points to them on how to govern with the responsibilities. 

Some of the key points included an advises regarding how to work for public with confidence. They stressed the members to maintain unity among all community people and to come forward with all possible services they can give. 

The crucial problems of the town including power outrage, water issues, garbage, UGD and Gousia street pumping station were considered as the main stream in the meeting. 

Former general secretary of Tanzeem, Mohiddin Altaf Kharuri too spoke on responsibilities of councillors on the occasion.

The program was presided by Tanzeem vice-president Mohtisham Jafar Saheb.

The program began with the recitation of Holy Quran by Maulana Yasir Barmavar. Tanzeem general secretary Maulana Abdur Raqeeb MJ addressed the welcome speech. Vote of thanks was delivered by Aheed Mohtisham.

On this occasion Tanzeem Vice President  Atiqur Rahman Muniri saheb, Siddique Df Saheb, Inayatullah Shabandri, Master Mohammed Shafi Saheb Shabandri Patel, Sada Mohammed Meeran saheb, Abdur Raheem Jukaku, Moulana Abdul Aleem Qasmi, Kola Ameeruddin saheb and many other prominent members were present.
