Kumta: New office bearers for Kumta unit of North Kanara Muslim United Forum was elected on 26th September, Thursday, in a meeting held here at Ideal English Medium School in Kumta.

Muhammad Akbar Mulla and Ali Adam Damkar re-elected second time as President and General Secretary respectively, while Abdul Qadir Shaikh elected as vice-president and Abdul Shukur Mirzankar as treasurer.

The meeting was presided by Basti Muhammad Malik Saheb.

The program began with the recitation of verses from holy Quran by Ali Shah Satodkar, while Ali Adam Damkar addressed welcome note and vote of thanks.

In the meeting, North Kanara Muslim United Forum district general secretary Muhammad Mohsin Quazi, Abusaleha Mulla, Ali Shaikh and others were present.
