Bhatkal: Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem of Bhatkal on Friday strongly condemned the terror attack on CRPF convoy at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

Muhiddin Altaf Kharuri, general secretary of the organisation, said: “We express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims of this horrendous act. We also appeal to the government to pay adequate compensation to the injured and families of martyrs, besides taking strong action against the culprits.”

Various organisations in the district have condemned the terror attack and demanded that the Union Government act against the terror organisations that are bound to disrupt peace in the country. In Karwar too, members of various organisations took out candle light march.
