Bhatkal: An event was organized by the Lions​ club of Murdeshwar to felicitate an Indian army officer from Baidrimany in Murdeshwar, providing protection in Jammu and Kashmir region of the country.

The officer Hanumanth Naik has been rendering his services within the Indian army in various places​ since the last 14 years.

Lions​ club member Sunil Chetan introduced the guest. Hanumanth Naik and the Lions​ club members spoke about various issues.

He said, he feels lucky for being chosen to serve for his nation. He also talked about various opportunities available to the youths to join the Indian army.
