Mundgod: "The thieves are within your home, be careful Mr Yeddyurappa, don't blame us for their wrong doings", taunted opposition party leader and former CM Siddaramaiah.
He was addressing at a Congress' party workers convention held here at Mundgod on Monday. Speaking further, he accused DyCM Laxman Savadi and BJP State Chief Naleen Kumar Kateel maybe the reason behind recording the video and sharing it with media, in which CM Yeddyurappa is alleged of saying that disqualified MLAs were kept in Mumbai under the watch of Party Chief Amit Shah, in a BJP executive meeting held recently at Hubballi. He said that after Mr. Yediyurappa admitted the truth about party top leaders’ involvement in mass resignation of the MLAs, Mr. Shah had started “punching” him, forcing him to change his version.
Lashing out at disqualified MLA Shivram Hebbar, Siddaramaiah said that the former have sold himself. He has betrayed the party and knocked the doors of BJP. Such people need to be taught a tough lesson. No matter how much dramatic Hebbar maybe, he will surely be the candidate from BJP. But, CM Yeddyurappa keeps saying that there is no links between BJP and disqualified MLAs. The BJP is fond of lying everytime.
Housing Minister V Somanna should take care of his illegalities. There were no illegalities during our term. To make Yeddyurappa happy, Somanna is heard spitting out unwanted things, said former CM Siddaramaiah.
Siddaramaiah further said, We have informed Supreme Court regarding the viral audio. There have been arguments over the disqualified MLAs. Let us wait for the Supreme Court's judgement on this.
The disqualified MLAs, who have betrayed the people, should be defeated, he said.
It shall be noted that, Uttara Kannada district Congress president Bhimanna Naik have been announced as the candidate for Yellapur-Mundgod assembly bye-elections from Congress party.
