Mundgod: The body of a youth was found in a field near Lakkolli Turn here on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Sandeep Sahadev Vaddar (20) of Karginkoppa village in Mundgod taluk.

Police suspect that he must have been murdered. Dog squad was brought to the spot for investigation.

PSI Lakkappa Naik registered a case.
