Mundgod: An incident of fire catching accidentally into one of the house was reported here at Bachana gram Panchayat limits under Mundgod taluk. The fire caught the home appliances and gutted all of it.

Sources say, the house which gutted to fire belonged to Nirmala Laxman Yellapur. The incident happened when she was away from the home for her household work. The cause of the fire is not yet known.

The loss estimated is around 50 thousand rupees.
