Sirsi: A motorcyclist was killed on the spot after the bike in which he was riding was rammed by a KSRTC bus here at Dasankoppa in Banavasi police station limits in Sirsi taluk on Sunday.

The deceased is identified as Narayan Kanappa Naik (38).

Sources informed that the mishap happened when the victim Narayan was enroute to his home on Sunday evening. He was hit by Kunaji-Hangal KSRTC bus.

A case has been registered at Banavasi police station and PSI Sitaram is investigating the case.
