Bhatkal: Chandrashekhar Shaniyaar Moger (30), brother of fisherman Ramesh Shaniyaar Moger (32) of Belni in Bhatkal who went missing with the fishing boat Malpe Suvarna Tribhuja, attempted suicide on Monday night as he was worried about his brother. He was later admitted to a hospital in Udupi.

Chandrashekhar was suffering from jaundice was seeking treatment at a local hospital. When his health deteriorated, he told his neighbour/friend that he had consumed poison. Immediately, his friends and his other brother rushed him to Udupi hospital. His condition was however critical till Wednesday evening. Even Ramesh’s mother and father are unwell due to depression over her missing son.
