Mangaluru: The city police have arrested one more person in connection with the Mahammed Fazil murder case. The arrested accused is Harshith,28, a resident of Bantwal.
He is accused of providing shelter to the six accused, after they committed the crime.
He allegedly took them to his house in a car. He was arrested on Wednesday. The police have also seized the car. Earlier, the police had arrested a total of seven persons, including six who were directly involved in the murder, as well as the owner of the car that was used by the accused.
Mahammed Fazil,23, a resident of Mangalapete in Katipalla, was hacked to death in front of a shop on July 28, in the Surathkal police station limits.
