Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada District unit of the NSUI staged a protest in front of the University College in Mangaluru on Monday alleging that various student organisations have been neglected by inviting only the ABVP for a discussion on the new National Education Policy at the University College.

Several NSUI activists and leaders who participated in the protest raised slogans against the Vice Chancellor.

The protestors alleged that the Union Government was planning to saffronise education by implementing a New Education Policy without holding any consultations with the state governments, student organisations and other stakeholders.
