Mangaluru: The police arrested a man who had allegedly clicked obscene photographs of his female friend and uploaded it in social media.

The arrested man was identified as Jithesh Sapalya, a resident of Manjeshwara. He had developed a friendship with the victim over the last two to three years. He had clicked obscene photographs of the victim on May 8, 2018. When the victim’s family opposed their friendship, the accused uploaded the photographs on social media.

The man was remanded in judicial custody, after the police produced him before the court.

Ganja seized

Police arrested a man and seized 60 gram ganja from his possession at Dharmasthala.

The arrested is Pradeep Poojary (26), a resident of Ulaibettu. He was a prime accused in the murder of Madooru Isubu, inside the sub jail in Mangaluru.

He was also wanted in a murder attempt case registered at Mangaluru North station and in a dacoity case at Mulki station.
