Mangaluru:   A man murdered his brother after suspecting him of having an illicit affair with his wife at Bondala Shanthigudde in Bantwal taluk.

According to Dakshina Kannada Superintendent of Police Rishikesh Sonawane, the accused was identified as Ravi and the victim was his brother Sundara (30). It is said that Sundara was unmarried and was staying in his ancestral house. Ravi’s wife was supplying food to him every day. Ravi, suspecting an affair between his wife and brother, began quarreling with them frequently. On Friday night, Ravi had entered into a quarrel with Sundara. When their other brother Ramesh visited the spot, he saw Ravi assaulting Sundara. Writhing in pain, Sundara collapsed on the floor and breathed his last. The Bantwal town police have visited the spot.
