Mangaluru: A motorcycle rider was killed on the spot after he was run over by a speeding KSRTC bus near Adyar on Sunday.

Police said victim Hameed,50, a resident of Addur, was returning home after attending a wedding in Arkula. On the way, a speeding KSRTC bus, which was heading towards Mangaluru, hit his motorbike from the rear, killing Hamed on the spot. A case has been registered at the Mangaluru South traffic police station in this regard.
