Mangaluru: A week after four people of a family were killed in a freak accident, in another accident at the same spot, a Kerala State Transport Bus and SUV collided, due to which two people were killed and four people were grievously injured, at Adkar Mavinakattein Sullia, on Friday.

The victims are Majid, 32, a resident of Kedila, Bantwal, and Sadiq,31, a resident of Kabaka in Puttur. According to police, the victims and four others were traveling to Mangaluru from Sullia, while the bus was heading towards Sullia . On reaching Mavinakatte Adkar, the two vehicles met with a head-on collision, the SUV was dragged several feet away, before landing in a nearby farm. The SUV got completely mangled, and local had to pull the victims out of the vehicle . The injured are being treated at private hospital in Sullia, and a case has been registered in this regard.
